10 tricks for an always clean kitchen - part 1

The kitchen represents the heart of the home.

It's not just a place where we cook and prepare meals. It is a center of socializing with friends and family.

We want to feel good in the space in which we spend a lot of time, so the kitchen must be kept clean and tidy.

During the everyday preparation of food, however, we often leave behind a real mess - constant cleaning of kitchen surfaces can be difficult if they are difficult to clean.

The pace of life is extremely fast therefore we all want to spend less time on household tasks and prefer to devote it to things and to the people we love.

For a cleaner kitchen, the selection of the kitchen itself is very important - from the flooring to the sink. If you have the intention to renovate your kitchen or choose a brand new one ... now you have an ideal opportunity to consider this criterion when choosing equipment.

We will disclose 10 tricks to you to make your kitchen easy to clean and thus save you time for what counts.

1. FUNCTIONALITY

When choosing a kitchen, it is good to rely on functionality.

You probably will not renovate your kitchen for many years to come, so do not only consider the esthetic side when choosing a kitchen.

Certain modern elements that you like today will soon be outdated, and you will be unhappy with the demanding daily cleaning due to the momentary fashion fad when renovating or choosing a new kitchen.

When choosing kitchen surfaces and materials, think of smooth, water resistant and stain resistant materials (no cracks or rough stone surfaces and gaps between tiles) that are durable, solid and can easily be cleaned which is also important for health and environmental reasons.

The arrangement is also of the utmost importance: the path from the sink to the dishwasher and back to the cupboards should be as short as possible, which saves time when cleaning dishes, especially in larger kitchens.

2. FLOORING, WORKING SURFACES AND WALL COVERINGS

The working surfaces and wall coverings are most affected by the dirt: in the preparation of food, there is spillage, food residues, and obstinate oil stains that squirts out of hot pans during cooking.

Thus, when choosing a counter consider smooth surfaces that you can easily wipe off. An extremely popular solution is low-cost laminate counters coated with easy-to-clean plastics, and composite materials, e.g. artificial stone that is durable and scratch-resistant.

Wood is a less recommendable choice, as it is quickly damaged - scratches and dents are formed in which tiny food residues can quickly accumulate which represents a paradise for bacteria.

Wall coverings above the counters have experienced a real boom in recent years, and make many kitchens proud: mosaics, tiles, various wallpapers, natural stone, brick, chalk color ...

Options and ideas are infinite, but all these materials have a downside: they are hard to clean. Sometimes stains or water can permanently damage them.

A common and inexpensive choice are tiles that can be wiped off, but the real problem is gaps between the tiles that absorb fat from gushing oil.

The best materials in terms of cleaning are an increasingly popular tempered glass, one-piece stainless steel plate that gives the kitchen a modern look, and new materials, such as minimalist concrete, vintage wooden lining, bamboo ...

The flooring also needs to be chosen according to its functionality: the parquet and laminate are more sensitive, while the tiles, in this case, are a good choice.

Modern and recommended are large plates that enable as few intermediate slits as possible, but we need to choose darker colors that hide stains well.

3. SINK AND KITCHEN FITTINGS

Beside the stove, the sink is the busiest point of the kitchen - in the sink, we wash the food and the dishes, pour water ...

The sink and the selected kitchen fittings are important elements of every kitchen and give it the final touch.

By selecting the ALVEUS sink and kitchen fittings, you get top quality, durable and cleaning quality material that gives your kitchen a long lasting and trendy look.

The quality Alveus sink has the following features

● stronger materials, which means greater resistance to impacts and scratches, greater reinforcement stability, and less noise caused by the water jet in the sink;

● temperature resistance;

● a deeper bowl of the sink which ensures greater comfort when washing dishes;

● large drains and well-designed draining surfaces that ensure the flow of water into the drain and thus hygienic integrity and cleanliness;

● a surface of the sinks (stainless and composite) inhibits the development of bacteria wherein all the corners are accessible, allowing unhindered cleaning;

● Alveus sinks are free from toxic substances and are environmentally friendly.

You can choose between various materials (stainless steel, composite materials, toughened glass and stainless steel coated with a nitride layer) of kitchen sinks, surface structures and colors to achieve the "WOW" effect in everyone who will visit you.

What sink material should be selected from the point of view of simple cleaning?

Alfa and omega of materials which are easy to clean is certainly inox or noble stainless steel, which is a big hit among kitchen sinks.

Stainless steel does not accumulate dirt and is resistant to rust.

For regular cleaning of your shining, elegant and minimalist sink, most of the time, only some warm water and soft cloth are sufficient, but occasionally we will have to perform a more thorough cleaning with the Allshine non-aggressive cleansing agent.

Another hint: extremely modern and practical, especially from the point of cleaning, is the method of completely integrated kitchen sinks as you can wipe the fragments of food from the kitchen counter directly into the trough!

4. STOVE

The choice of a stove is extremely important in terms of simple cleaning: the older population above all trusts gas stoves which are a nightmare for cleaning.

During cooking, drops and foods are burned on the surface and it is extremely difficult to clean them later.

In terms of cleaning, a glass-ceramic or induction cooking hob is very grateful. The latter is a particularly popular choice because it is highly responsive and economical.

5. LIGHTS

Good lighting in the kitchen does not only prevent you from cutting off your fingers, but it also makes it easier for you to clean the kitchen.

With good lighting of working surfaces, we quickly notice drops, stains and food residues in the kitchen, in order to clean them up quickly, and we can thus spend more time, for example, for cleaning the oven. Or for drinking coffee after lunch.
